This dual-gender catheterization simulator is a cost-effective 2-in-1 trainer for realistic catheterization training on both male and female patients. The model allows for the insertion, placement, and locking of a catheter under realistic conditions, simulating resistance and pressure as experienced by a real patient. Once the catheter is correctly positioned, urine is expelled, clearly demonstrating the successful completion of the catheterization procedure.
The anatomically correct representation of the male and female genitalia, along with the soft, realistic materials, provides an authentic tactile experience. The genitalia are easily interchangeable, allowing both catheterization procedures to be practiced with a single model. The simulator is complemented by a life-size infant lower body, enabling the practice of pediatric catheterization techniques as well.
The simulator is suitable for the medical training of nurses and medical professionals, as well as for nursing and health centers and simulation centers that offer realistic training for different patient groups. It supports both basic training and continuing education in catheterization techniques.
The model offers training in male, female, and pediatric catheterization within a single system, realistic resistance and pressure during insertion, visible urine flow upon correct placement, soft and anatomically realistic genitalia, and easily interchangeable components.
