This ileostomy model realistically represents an end ileostomy – the second most common type of stoma. Typically, the ileostomy is located on the right side of the body and shows the small intestine sewn above skin level. The anatomically correct design allows for an authentic simulation of daily stoma care.
Made from a special plastic compound, the mold ensures reliable adhesion of all common stoma bags and base plates. This makes it ideal for practicing stoma size determination with templates, skin cleansing with water, and the proper application of base plates and stoma bags.
Thanks to its self-adhesive backing, the moulage can be flexibly attached to training mannequins as well as directly to the skin. This allows for realistic training situations and a practical demonstration of stoma care.
