This anatomically realistic plastic stomach model was developed for training and educational purposes in the field of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). The shape and structure of the human stomach are faithfully reproduced to enable realistic training scenarios.
The transition zone between the esophagus and stomach is made of flexible material. This allows an endoscope to be inserted and guided with resistance comparable to that encountered in clinical practice. For actual dissection training, a prepared pig stomach can be inserted into the model, enabling realistic practice of instrument handling and cutting techniques.
This model allows for the placement of training tissue in various anatomical regions of the stomach, including the anterior and posterior walls, greater and lesser curvatures, and the body of the stomach. It is compatible with standard endoscopes and designed for repeated use in training courses and workshops. A transport case is included for safe transport and storage.
This product is intended solely for educational, training and simulation purposes and is not suitable for use on patients.
