Leukoplast® Compress Non-Woven are specially developed wound dressings that are particularly suitable for pressure- and pain-sensitive wounds such as burns , abrasions , or other painful skin injuries . The compress's very soft and breathable structure makes it significantly more comfortable for patients than conventional gauze compresses . They offer gentle wound care that supports the healing process without unnecessary wound irritation. Leukoplast® Compress Non-Woven are absorbent and have a low risk of sticking , making treatment less painful .
The material is composed of 70% viscose and 30% polyester , providing high absorbency while maintaining comfort and breathability . These compresses are available in sterile and non-sterile versions and in three different sizes , making them suitable for a variety of wound sizes and applications. Leukoplast® slit nonwoven compresses can also be used for wound care around cannulas and drains .
