The Sarstedt Urine-Monovette® sets the standard for hygienic and completely needle-free urine collection in practices, clinics, and laboratories. The closed system minimizes the risk of contamination for medical personnel and patients. The ergonomic design enables precise sampling and ensures smooth workflows in the pre-analytical phase.
This versatile urine collection system is optimally matched to modern laboratory diagnostics. The Monovettes are suitable without restriction for performing visual strip tests, direct use in automated analyzers, and for centrifugation for efficient urine sediment recovery. Thanks to the robust construction from transparent polypropylene (PP), the fill level and sample condition can be visually checked at all times.
For special diagnostic requirements in microbiology, a variant with boric acid preparation is also available. This reliably stabilizes microbial growth at room temperature for up to 48 hours, ensuring accurate bacteriological test results even with delayed transport. All variants meet the strict transport and shipping requirements according to P650 of ADR and IATA, which noticeably reduces logistics and disposal costs in everyday medical practice.
