Hartmann Pagasling gauze swabs, in their non-sterile version, set standards in professional wound care and surgical procedures. Made from high-quality gauze in accordance with DIN EN 14079 (20-thread), these swabs are characterized by exceptionally high absorbency. This allows for efficient absorption of secretions and fluids, thereby accelerating work processes in the practice or in the operating room preparation area.
The special feature of the Pagasling construction is the unique interlocking design: each swab is made from a single piece of gauze. Thanks to this innovative manufacturing technique, all cut edges are safely enclosed within the swab. For the user, this means maximum safety, as the risk of loose threads or foreign body irritations in the wound area is minimized.
Thanks to the various available sizes – from hazelnut-sized to egg-sized – the Pagasling range offers the right solution for every medical scenario. The non-sterile variant is excellent for economical stocking for applications where subsequent in-house sterilization is performed or for general skin cleaning and secretion absorption in non-critical areas.
