The Equine Castration Simulator is a technologically advanced training model specifically designed to simulate closed castration. It offers veterinary students, technicians, and aspiring surgeons an extremely realistic platform to learn the entire surgical procedure under controlled and reproducible conditions.
At the heart of the simulator are the fluid-filled silicone modules, which accurately replicate the testicles and spermatic cord. Surrounded by a tissue-analogous casing, the model allows for authentic haptic feedback with every maneuver. A special highlight is the gravity-fed blood system: it simulates blood flow in real-time and serves for immediate validation of hemostasis. This provides users with direct visual feedback on whether ligatures have been correctly placed and bleeding successfully controlled.
Thanks to the sophisticated mounting system, used modules can be replaced in a very short time. This makes the simulator the perfect solution for training large groups or for intensive workshop units where efficiency and repeatability are paramount.
