The CLEARTEST Cardio rapid infarction test is a qualitative in-vitro diagnostic rapid test for the supportive early detection of acute myocardial infarction. The test system combines the detection of the cardiac markers hFABP and troponin I and is designed for professional use in the point-of-care setting.
The combined marker approach of this test allows for an initial assessment in time-critical situations. hFABP can be detected in the blood early after a cardiac event, while troponin I, as an established marker, provides additional diagnostic certainty. The test result is visually interpretable within approximately ten minutes and supports rapid clinical decision-making in acute cases.
The rapid test can be performed with whole blood, serum, or plasma and is suitable for emergency rooms, ambulance services, hospitals, general practitioners' offices, and mobile use. Storage at room temperature facilitates use outside of traditional laboratory environments. The product is intended exclusively for professional in-vitro diagnostic use. Results should always be evaluated within the overall clinical context and in combination with other diagnostic measures.
