Aquaflex® ultrasound gel pads from Parker are sterile, single-use pads for acoustic coupling between the ultrasound probe and the skin surface. They were developed for ultrasound examinations where uniform and reliable sound transmission is required and conventional ultrasound gel alone is insufficient.
The gel pad is positioned directly between the transducer and the skin, ensuring consistent and even coupling. This improves image quality, particularly during examinations of uneven or sensitive areas of the body. It is ready to use and requires no additional ultrasound gel, facilitating a clean and organized workflow.
The hypoallergenic material is flexible and adapts to different body contours. Aquaflex® gel pads are intended for single use and are individually sterile-packed.
